Dr Gideon Botha is a South African Chartered Accountant [CA (SA)] and currently a Senior Financial Manager at one of the big five commercial banks in South Africa. His primary objective is to achieve business growth for the bank’s home loan division. In 2019, the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants awarded him with the “Simplifying your Success Award” in the Top 35-under-35 Category. As he is passionate about creating a more preferred future that will benefit the greater society, he is currently enrolled for a Master’s Degree in Future Studies at the University of Stellenbosch. Last year, Gideon completed his PhD on the topic “A framework for price tariffs in the costing structures of South African private hospitals” at the Nelson Mandela University. Gideon is also busy with a pilot study in Namibia to implement his PhD recommendations.
